240bn Funds Reserved to Improve South Punjab Projects

Saqib Zafar, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of South Punjab, revealed that 240 billion rupees were reserved for around 2000 uplift projects in the region.

The details were revealed after the Annual Development Program review meeting. The concerned meeting was presided by ACS and was informed that funds are reserved for 1548 ongoing and 443 new projects.

The official ordered the relevant authorities to complete these projects within the time limit and utilize the funds accordingly.

Furthermore, he directed them to follow the approved guidelines while developing the projects.

The infrastructure projects include the construction of different roads, sewerage projects, development of parking plazas, upgrading of the WASA Multan mechanical system, etc.
