MNA (Member National Assembly) Shahid Khattak said the construction of a 250km road network has been completed while work on Rs.150 million projects was underway in the area.
Addressing the Haleem Bukhari honors distribution ceremony as a VIP guest at the Karak Press Club, he stated that just 20% of Rs.150 million projects were from the regional Annual Development Program – ADP.
He further declared, work on the Chashma-Akorkhel dam and Petroleum Institute would be inaugurated shortly, for which budgets would be delivered by the federal governments.
He added, work on the district sports complex would continue soon as the project had been ceased due to some technological causes, which were fixed recently.
He said Rs.7 billion were being paid on gasification projects. He sanctioned Rs.8 million for Karak Press Club’s solarisation project and Ramazan Package for correspondents.
At the event, three tehsil mayors of the ruling party including Azmat Khattak, Sajjad Ahmad Khan, and Inayatullah were also attending. The president of the press club, Khalid Khattak, thanked the lawmaker for the suggested solarisation of the press club.
