KP government allocated rupees 47 billion for the repair and restoration of major highways in the province.

KP Highways Authority spokesman shared the details of the allotted budget. He said that 10 billion rupees are dedicated to constructing the double road from Bannu-Miran Shah Ghulam Khan Road as it will boost the trade activities in the locality.

Likewise, around 2.3 billion rupees have been allocated for the restoration of the Krappa-Shakardara road, and seven billion rupees are earmarked for the restoration of roads in the Dir District. Furthermore, he stated that the budget of 3.5 billion rupees would be spent on the Havelian-Damthor bypass roads in Abbottabad.
