The chairman of the Capital Development Authority has asked E-in-C (Engineering branch of the Army) to conduct a hydrological survey in Zone II to V in Islamabad to deal with any future flood disasters in the Capital.
The danger of floods has increased in Islamabad after the heavy rains recently. Therefore, it was decided in the meeting to conduct a hydrological survey in Zone II, III, IV & V of Capital and come up with a strategy to save precious lives and property in urban areas.
Furthermore, the Chairman of CDA, Amir Ali Ahmed, has said that NOC for development will not be issued in the concerned sectors until the completion of the survey.
