CDA Launches Automated System for Building Approvals

CDA Launches Automated System for Building Approvals- Realtorspk

Islamabad: CDA’s Building Control Section South has launched the initial survey to geo-tag legal and illegal commercial constructions in its jurisdiction.

The data will be used for internal matters at first, but it will be available for public access via the CDA website after a while.

The relevant civic body of Capital Development Authority Islamabad is in charge of implementing Building Bylaws in the IV & V Zones of Islamabad. These zones comprise private housing schemes and unplanned residential areas.

Before this initiative, the building information was restricted to files and severely needed an automated and centralized system. Once the survey is complete, the entire details of residential and commercial buildings will be accessible electronically. The users will access information on legal status, size, condition, location, and ownership with one click.

It is worth mentioning that automation has been a long-standing issue, but with the efforts of Director BCS South, Muhammad Shafi Marwat, the system will work to minimize the human effort, and construction approvals will be done efficiently.
