CDA plan to construct a sports complex and revive ancient trails in Shah Allah Ditta

Islamabad: CDA has planned to restore the beauty of Shah Allah Ditta, hence decided to construct a multi-purpose sports complex and revive the ancient trails of Alexander the Great in the area.

The Capital Development Authority will restore the trail that connects Shah Allah Ditta with KP to the boundaries of the Federal Capital of Pakistan.

The aim of restoring the route will be to boost tourism & preserve the cultural heritage of the area. The civic body is also planning to restore Trail 8 & built a fresh trail from Eight Buddha Caves to the Buddha Stupa.

Moreover, the sports Enclave will feature various sports facilities for tourists, including; rock climbing, volleyball, cricket & zipline.

The Chairman of the Capital Development Authority, Mr Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, said that the sports complex would promote recreational activities and sports among the residents & tourists. Furthermore, it will provide world-class recreational facilities to visitors.
