CDA is planning to construct 11th Avenue soon to avoid traffic congestion problems in the sectors of E-11 and Khayaban-e-Iqbal. The construction is likely to start after finishing the development of the road linking Margalla Avenue with E-11.
According to the details, the construction work on the 5.5 Km Road from D-12 to E-11 will be completed in July. Once completed, the traffic on Margalla Avenue will shift to Khayaban-e-Iqbal and sector E-11. Therefore, traffic congestion will be unavoidable.
The Chairman of Capital Development Authority, Islamabad, Mr. Noor-ul-Amin stated that with the construction of 11th Avenue, people would have a direct link to E-11 from Srinagar Highway. To start the development on time, the survey for 11th Avenue has already been started.
It was mentioned that the survey would be completed in 30 days. Once 11th Avenue completes, the traffic flow will be divided, ensuring smooth traffic flow. The Avenue will be linked with Srinagar Highway and IJP Road. For the latest Real Estate News and Blogs, visit Realtorspk blogs.
