CDA is taking strong action to deal with the development of illegal housing schemes in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
Ministry of State for Law and Justice, Senator Shahadat Awan informed that there are around 117 unapproved housing schemes in Islamabad which are under development. He stated that notices had been served to each of them,
While sharing the details, he said that many housing societies buy a small piece of land and sell more than available residential and commercial plots to the investors. Capital Development Authority has started a strong media awareness campaign against the builders and contractors involved in these practices.
