Islamabad: The CDA is all set to revamp the famous Melody Food Park in Islamabad. The park is the favorite destination for the foodies of the twin cities.
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) director has instructed the concerned authorities to strategize the park’s restoration. As per the directive of the CDA director, the park should meet international standards.
The refurbishment of the park will include the following:
• Constructing sidewalks
• Seating arrangement
• Remodeling entrances
• Services for summer and winter
It was also suggested to set up stalls for women selling handicrafts to create employment opportunities for women.
The park was opened in 2002 but did not undergo frequent renovations. However, the visitors have complained about inadequate seating arrangements and poor sanitation in the park.
