First-ever female-dominated police station opens in AJK’s Rawalakot

First-Ever female-dominated police stations open in AJK’s Rawalakot. The station was initially provided with an 11 member team led by Sub-Inspector Zahida Hanif as a station house officer (SHO)

IGP Azad Kashmir Dr. Sohail Habib Tajik said officials at the station would investigate complaints about the harassment cases of women in workplaces or educational institutions, child abuse, domestic issues mainly violence. Other cases related to violence include property disputes as well as cases in which females were the accused.
