The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry – FPCCI has urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to exempt tax of property in industrial estates in the province.
A meeting of FPCCI was held with the MD and deputy managing director of the small industrial development board, where the exemption of property tax on the concerned sector was strongly recommended in zones of Peshawar and Kohat. The request for tax exemption is made on the property tax waiver model implemented in the province’s economic zone.
According to the details, the small industries play a vital role in country development and need time to support the Small & Medium Entrepreneurs for promotion. The Small Industrial Development Board MD assured to take up the issue with the provincial government.
