The CDA – Capital Development Authority has given the contract to Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) for the construction of the Sihala flyover project on Kahuta Road.
The FWO has signed a deal with the city managers to execute the said project, after completing the contract with a private company. It is appropriate to note that the project, worth PKR 770 million, was granted to a private company and was to be finished within a year. However, the project has not even been initiated yet.
According to an official of the CDA engineering wing, work on the flyover project will begin after Eid and is anticipated to be finished within one year. Reportedly, the Rawal Dam Interchange and Korang Bridge projects were also given to FWO for finishing as soon as possible. It was mentioned that the work on all three projects will be restarted simultaneously.
