Executive Director of Development Finance Group (DFG) Mr. Samar Hasnain has said that government will soon relaunch the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar scheme with revised finance terms. The distribution of funds according to the new development scheme will be launched on 31st August 2022.
Executive Director said that the government is working on an authentic strategy to make the scheme more practical, sustainable, and useable for the central bank to support. He further states that the modifications are likely to be made according to recent macroeconomic developments.
Moreover, Mr. Hassnain stated that the government acknowledges that the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar Scheme is linked to more than 40 industries. It will boost the construction industry and will be fruitful for the economy. Lastly, he said that the government will soon start providing funds under the scheme to those whose loans have been approved but have not been issued until now.
