Hyderabad Sukkur Motorway along with other development projects got approval by ECNEC

Finance Minister Miftah Ismail presided over the executive committee of ECNEC – National Economic Council meeting. In the meeting, the committee approved the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway project based on “Build and Transfer” with rupees 308 million.

The motorway project will be a 06-lane wide, 306-kilometers long, and fenced highway between two primary hubs of Sindh. National Highway Authority will construct the project.

In the meeting, ECNEC also approved the construction of the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway link Highway (4-Lane) that will connect the Motorway to the Narang Mandi and Kartarpur Narowal, costing rupees 1,738 million.

Likewise, the construction of the 6-Lane Northern section of Ring Road from Warsak Road to Nasir Bagh Road in Peshawar was approved for rupees 1,649 million. The project will be 8.7 km long and will be completed in 3 years.
