LCCI assured to build a model village of 100 houses for flood victims

The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry has announced the construction of a model village of 100 houses with the collaboration of PDMA for the flood victims. LCCI is already providing money for tents and necessities for flood victims.

The announcement of the construction of houses for flood victims was made after the LCCI officials met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In the announcement, the president of LCCI, Mian Nauman Kabir, said that the Chamber of Lahore would be constructing houses and spending over 100 million on tents, food, and other goods for the survivors.

PM Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif praised the role of the business community in the rehabilitation process and said that it is need of time for every segment of society to come forward and join hands for the rehabilitation of survivors. He also said that the government is taking all the necessary measures to revive the economy after the massive disaster.
