Ministry of Housing shared data of houses completed under low-cost housing projects

The Ministry of Housing and Works released data on houses built under different low-cost housing programs.

The report states that the government has completed around 3,564 houses for the WWF – Workers Welfare Fund. According to the report, 150,712 low-cost houses are under construction throughout Pakistan under different low-cost housing schemes.

The government also held balloting from time to time for the construction of low-cost housing units under different projects. For instance;

  • 1500 + houses in Zone V Islamabad under WWF and 4000 + in Lahore.
  • Around two thousand houses in Farash Town Islamabad and 839 houses in Sargodha and Chinioyt
  • Moreover, 300 low-cost housing units are balloted under PHA Nowshera and Jalozai, KPK.

It is important to notice that the government has already successfully processed 9,562 applications nationwide under low-cost schemes.
