NHA Approves Budget for N-50 Highway Revamping

ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) Executive Board approved the budget for “Dualization and Improvement of Existing N-50,” which was 26.67% higher than the engineer’s estimate of Rs.18.029 billion.

As per official documents, the Board approved the award of works for “Dualization and Improvement of Existing N-50 from Yarik – Sagu -Zhob: Package-I: Yarik – Sagu (50 Km)” to M/s NLC.

The Board unanimously adopted the National Highway Safety Ordinance 2000’s (Schedule-VI) allowable load restrictions, with a directive that the affected offices undertake an immediate campaign to spread awareness among road users.
