NHA to revamp the Hub Bridge on Karachi-Quetta National Highway

Islamabad: The NHA – National Highway Authority has decided to reconstruct the Hub Bridge on Karachi-Quetta National Highway (N-25) after the recent flash floods washed it away.

Recently, an executive board meeting of the NHA was carried out at the head office chaired by NHA Chairman Captain Muhammad Khurram Agha to check the present condition of the NHA network. The meeting authorized the rebuilding of the Hub Bridge – connecting Sindh with Balochistan – under the leadership of the Federal Minister of Communications and Postal Services, Asad Mahmood.

Moreover, the meeting endorsed the construction of the Hub Bypass, which will deliver new regional socio-economic development possibilities. The NHA chairman has directed the staff to stay alert in case of any emergency. He said that the repair of traffic on the network of national highways and motorways was a priority, and all resources would be used for this purpose.
