Over 5000 acres of Railway land in Sindh is under illegal occupation

More than 5000 acres of Pakistan Railways land is under encroachment in Sindh and currently in the use of different people, groups, and even some of the business organizations for different purposes like residential, commercial, and agriculture for the past few years.

National Assembly Standing Committee on Railways was held where the news was announced at the office of the divisional superintendent at the City Station. The chairman Muhammad Mueen Wattoo led the committee and raised many issues. He also stated several questions before the railway’s authorities about quality of railway service, punctuality, and different challenges being faced by the PR.
