The Southeast Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 6 (SEA-ME-WE 6) underwater cable system spans 19,200 kilometers and connects Pakistan to a number of nations between Singapore and France. SEA-ME-WE 6 will have one of the lowest latencies connecting Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Western Europe, with a transfer rate of more than 100 Tbps, or 40,000 high-definition movies per second.
Trans World Associates, Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company, Bharti Airtel Ltd. (India), Dhiraagu (Maldives), Djibouti Telecom, Mobily (Saudi Arabia), Orange (France), Singtel (Singapore), Sri Lanka Telecom, Telecom Egypt, Telekom Malaysia, and Telin are among the members of the SEA-ME-WE 6 consortium (Indonesia).
