RAWALPINDI: Liaquat Ali Chattha, Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, instructed the relevant authorities to 100% digitalize land revenue records in Rawalpindi Division by the following review meeting week.
During a revenue-related meeting at the Commissioner’s Office, Commissioner Rawalpindi directed all Assistant Commissioners to collect manual mozah and complete revenue reform targets at the earliest. He emphasized that the reforms simplify government office procedures and provide immediate solutions to land-related issues.
Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Dr. Hasan Waqar Cheema, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue NabilSandhu, and other concerned officers participated in the meeting in person, whereas Deputy Commissioners Attock, Murree, Jhelum, and Chakwal attended the meeting via a video link.
The districts of the Rawalpindi division were given targets to complete, including the unblocking of Block Khewats and the completion of interim mutation by 31st March. The Deputy Commissioners were also instructed to visit Sub-Registrar Offices to ensure fair and accessible services.
Additionally, the Commissioner stressed the importance of typing every decision and directed that tehsildars and naib tehsildars provide detailed findings after hearing both parties. The meeting also covered updates on the performance of revenue reforms, with 92 percent of the digital girdawari and 93 percent of interim mutation status already completed.
