PM Imran Khan would attend the “Middle East Green Initiative Summit” happening in Riyadh on October 25, 2021. The initiative was announced by Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman himself with the aim to reduce carbon emissions by 60%. The project also has an objective to plant 50 billion trees in the world’s biggest afforestation project.

The PM had accepted Crown Prince’s invitation to the event. Imran Khan is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with the Saudi leadership.
