RUDA to Provide 300-acre Land for Fruit/Veg Market

The Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi, announced that the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) will provide 300-acre land to establish a new fruit and vegetable market.

The Punjab Fruit and Vegetable Arhtiyaan Association delegation requested the government to allot 300 instead of 200 acres for the new market and asked for financial assistance. The market will adhere to international standards and will be equipped with the latest facilities.

Additionally, the government will provide financial assistance to the Arhtis. Minister Gardezi assured the delegation that they will resolve all the grievances.

Moreover, RUDA CEO Imran Amin revealed that they would soon determine the location of the housing scheme for the journalists under the Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme Phase-2 in the Ravi Riverfront Urban Development Project’s Phase-1.
