The government is preparing to introduce the Pakistan Honor Card Scheme for top taxpayers and exporters. This scheme aims to recognize their contributions by granting them special privileges, especially at airports.
Under this scheme, a total of 65 distinguished exporters and compliant taxpayers, spanning across companies, Associations of Persons (AOPs), and individual taxpayers, who have recently been honored by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, will be issued these special cards.
Sources familiar with the matter have revealed that the cardholders will enjoy a range of benefits, including expedited clearance at immigration counters, access to official passports and associated facilities, as well as exclusive access to VIP lounges at airports.
Moreover, the scope of the scheme will extend to encompass new taxpayers who have demonstrated exceptional tax compliance (top two contributors), as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that stand out for their tax contributions (top three).
