ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Standing Committee issued directives to CDA to speed up the development work in sector E-12.
In a meeting, National Assembly Standing Committee on Government Assurances showed concern over the slow pace of development work in the sector E-12. The barriers to handing over plots possession in Sector E-12 were also discussed during the meeting.
The CDA officials expressed their views about the issues and told the Committee that the delay in the development work was mainly due to the encroachment. The Committee directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to accelerate development and take strict actions against land grabbers and mafias.
The meeting attendees include MNAs Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani, Saira Bano, Usman Ibrahim, Naseer Baloch Syed Javed Hasnain, Shagufata Jamani, Syed Javed Ali Shah Jilani, Shahnaz, and others. Besides, senior civil officers of the CDA, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and other institutions were also present on occasion.
