Islamabad: FBR has made an announcement to improve tax collection in Pakistan. According to the statement, the Federal Board of Revenue will start an operation countrywide to deal with tax evasion and enhance the collection of taxes.
The operation is described as one of the major steps to increase tax collection and fulfill the responsibility to boost revenue in the country. It focuses on catching everyone guilty of tax evasion and still has not faced any legal consequences.
According to the details, the Revenue Department has given the green light to run the operation, and relevant officers have been asked to take prompt action against the evaders. It will increase the recovery of taxes and eventually add a positive increase to Pakistan’s economy.
