Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court asked CDA to resolve the halting issue of car and vehicle parking in the city, particularly around showrooms.
While hearing a petition of car showroom owners against CDA, the Justice stated that there need to be more places for businesses and Islamabad residents to park. No proper framework is provided by the civic body to resolve the issue.
The Justice of the high court issued notice to the SP Traffic and inspector general of police and aid to file a proper report that reflects citizen and business needs and whether parking arrangement is enough to their requirements.
It is pertinent to note that the petition was submitted by car showroom owners whose shops were sealed due to parking in front of their showrooms.
