Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to digitize plot records to streamline the process of accessing plot records.
The CDA authorities are developing a dedicated website gateway to provide comprehensive information about both commercial and residential plots and buildings. The civic body is also creating a pro forma to submit complete plot details.
The gathered information will serve as the foundation for establishing a data bank and enabling the digitization of records. Once digitized, this information will be accessible to the public through an internet portal.
Initially, the digitization will be started with the plot records of sector D-12 in the first phase. Upon its successful implementation, digitization of the records of the rest of the sectors will be digitized. Records from various departments like the estate management, building control, planning, and revenue directorate.
