Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced a new exercise to broaden the tax base. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Revenue Tariq Pasha visited Regional Tax Office (RTO) Rawalpindi and RTO Islamabad to start FBR’s documentation drive. The SAPM allocated targets to the RTO Rawalpindi and Islamabad to expand the tax base.
The Chief Commissioners of Islamabad and Rawalpindi briefed the SAPM about the latest developments on broadening the tax base. The Directorate General of Broadening of Tax Base and Directorate General of Digital Invoicing & Analysis has been functioning to expand the tax base lately.
