CDA demarcates the limits of the Margalla Hills National Park.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has finally started the long-awaited project of marking the boundaries of Margalla Hills National Park. Following a directive from the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the local government has been ordered to draw the lines of the park’s boundaries within sixty days. Currently, boundary pillars are being installed in Sinyari, while the Survey of Pakistan is working to determine the exact boundaries.

According to an official from the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the distinction of Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP) is an ongoing process that involves the installation of boundary pillars as soon as the Survey of Pakistan determines their locations. The CDA has installed approximately 150 pillars in Sinyari and plans to finish the initiative within 60 days. An official, who chose to remain anonymous, stressed the significance of this endeavor in maintaining the park’s pristine environment and ecological value.
