Rawalpindi: The Business Facilitation Centre (BFC) hosted a gathering of officials to evaluate services for entrepreneurs at Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).
Deputy Commissioner Hasan Waqar of Rawalpindi underscored the significance of the Business Facilitation Center (BFC) due to its integral role in fostering economic activities throughout the region. Delineating the one-stop location the BFC provides for all requisite amenities, Mr. Waqar emphasized the facility’s criticality in promoting economic growth in the area.
He mentioned that people who want to start businesses in Rawalpindi will no longer have to visit multiple offices to obtain No Objection Certificates (NOCs). Waqar added that the BFC has already received 72 applications, and to simplify the process, dedicated desks have been set up from different departments to assist entrepreneurs.
Moreover, Mr. Waqar stated that the approval process for commercial and industrial constructions would be accelerated and completed within 30 days. Completion certificate applications would also be processed within the same timeframe. Requests for changes in land use would be addressed within 45 days.
