Islamabad: CDA is planning to simplify house construction by offering plans for pre-approved building plans. Muhammad Anwar-ul-Haq chaired a capital development authority’s board meeting, granting the plan approval.
During the meeting, it was decided that the relevant department would create a detailed booklet within two months. The booklet will consist of approved plans for buildings designed according to plot sizes. It will help the citizens to complete projects of construction with ease. The authority also started an effort to revise the commission’s responsibility to change the city’s master plan.
It is pertinent to note here that the city’s master plan was drafted in 1960, and revising it every two decades was compulsory. However, no strong changes occurred since then, and only sporadic changes were made in the plan on the direction of governments.
