CDA Multi-Billion Rupee Projects Now Open to Heavy Traffic-Realtorspk

Islamabad: The Chairman CDA has issued directives to open the Bhara Kahu bypass and Karnal Sher Khan Road for heavy traffic, overcoming previous technical and safety constraints in these multi-billion rupee infrastructure projects.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Anwarul Haq has mandated the reopening of Bhara Kahu Bypass and Karnal Sher Khan Road (formerly known as IJP Road) for heavy traffic. In a recent civic authority meeting, he expressed discontent over their closure due to heavy traffic despite the projects costing billions.

After additional work, the Bhara Kahu bypass’s total cost will reach a substantial 8 billion rupees, with an extra Rs.1.5 billion for ongoing review. Closed initially for technical reasons, the bypass issues will be addressed with speed breakers, signage, and police deployment.

Additionally, heavy traffic will now be permitted on Karnal Sher Khan Road, resolving a flyover landing concern near Sabzi Mandi. Encroachment removal was endorsed in the meeting to ease congestion on flexible lanes. For the latest Real Estate News and Blogs, visit Realtorspk blogs.
