CDA Unveils Game-Changing Pre-Approved House Plans for Hassle-Free Construction- Realtorspk

Islamabad-The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has implemented a novel initiative to facilitate the construction of residential properties for inhabitants. Providing pre-approved building plans represents a noteworthy advancement, as it will significantly assist citizens by streamlining the CDA’s building plan approval process.

During a visit to the building control sections of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the recently appointed chairman, Mohammad Anwarul Haq, announced a new and innovative decision. The chairman highlighted the challenges faced by citizens when seeking CDA’s approval for building plans, which often involved navigating multiple departments and encountering seemingly misplaced objections. To alleviate these difficulties, the relevant department has been assigned the responsibility of preparing approximately twenty high-quality building plans to cater to different sizes of residential plots.

It has been decided that citizens will be exempted from seeking the CDA’s approval for building plans if they use the pre-approved building plans to construct their homes. The fees associated with these programs will be determined with input from the CDA’s finance division. It was emphasized that those who desire a customized blueprint can still collaborate with the municipal agency. It should be noted that developers must obtain multiple No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from various directorates to obtain the CDA’s approval for building plans.

In a formal announcement, the chairman of the CDA revealed that he had issued a directive to digitize property records to enhance the efficiency of service provided through the One Window Operation (OWO) directorate. In a notable move, he conducted an unannounced inspection of the OWO and Building Control departments and urged them to improve. Moreover, he requested access to the building control department’s active building plan application documents. For the latest Real Estate News and Blogs, visit Realtorspk blogs.
