Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has revealed its plans to conduct a third-party audit of electric buses manufactured in China before their transportation to Pakistan.

As per the details, a Chinese company has manufactured 30 electric buses. However, the transportation of these buses has been delayed. The CDA has decided to conduct a third-party audit of all the buses to address this issue.

A team of CDA officials, highly qualified consultants, and engineers will leave for China by the end of December. They will thoroughly inspect the buses and prepare a comprehensive report based on their findings. It is important to note that the decision to bring these buses to Pakistan will be based solely on this report.

This measure aims to promote safety and quality in the public transportation sector and is in line with the CDA’s commitment to providing efficient and reliable services to the public. Furthermore, it has been decided that the CDA will operate 160 electric buses on 13 routes within the federal capital.

These buses will play a crucial role in promoting sustainable urban transportation. In the initial phase, the buses will operate on two routes, marking a significant milestone in achieving our goal of sustainable urban transport. For the latest Real Estate News and Blogs, visit Realtorspk blogs.
