Lahore: The Planning and Development (P&D) Board approved six development projects related to roads and bridges, sports, emergency services, and irrigation.
The meeting, chaired by the Chairman Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, approved initiatives worth PKR 9.504 billion. The approved projects include:
- Development of the Arifwala Bypass (worth PKR 784.908 million)
- Development of an interchange on Khanewal-Lodhran Road (worth PKR 2.731 million)
- Reinforcing Emergency Services in all districts of Punjab (worth PKR 756.851 million)
- Establishing Cricket High-Performance Headquarters in Faisalabad (PKR 1.245 billion) and Sialkot (PKR 1.323 billion)
- Improving water delivery performance and conveyance efficiency through the concrete lining of irrigation channels in District Performance & Conveyance Efficiency-II (PKR 2.663 billion)
