Lahore Development Authority assigns QR codes to registered housing societies of Lahore. According to the details, every housing society that comes under the jurisdiction of LDA and is legally registered with the possession of NOC will have the QR codes.
Android mobile users can scan the code through an application. It will redirect them to the site with completed details of the project. The details provided on the website are total area, land for purchase, mortgage plots, available plots for purchase, and several residential and commercial properties available for sale.
The QR code scan will also display the location and name of the residential projects legally registered with the Lahore Development Authority. The step is to save people from investing in scam, illegal, and fraud housing societies.
It is pertinent to note that LDA has also published a list of around 116 illegal housing societies violating the rules and regulations.
