Sialkot: Deputy Commissioner Shah Mir Iqbal has officially announced the initiation of a groundbreaking infrastructure development in Sialkot.
Under the Punjab government’s city package, construction has commenced on six highways with a budget of PKR 1,091 million. This strategic project aims to fortify the industrial significance of Sialkot and elevate its overall infrastructure.
At a recent meeting held in the DC Office, Mr. Iqbal revealed the details of the project and emphasized the need to finish the construction by mid-December. A directive was issued during the session to ensure thorough daily monitoring, highlighting the dedication towards timely and efficient execution.
The initiative represents a substantial financial investment and a pivotal step toward positioning Sialkot as a prominent player in Punjab’s economic landscape.
