Sixth Road Metro Station Restoration Work Commences Next Week-realtorspk
RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) is set to begin the reconstruction work on Sixth Road Metro Bus Station. The repairing will be started from next week.
Mr. Saif Anwar Jappa, Director General RDA, revealed that the reconstruction work of the metro station is estimated at around Rs99 million. In December, three other metro stations will be revamped in the second reconstruction phase. Moreover, Rs34 million are allocated to repair the partly damaged metro bus stations.
DG RDA further added that the sixth road metro station work will be completed by the end of November, and by December, all Metro bus stations will be revamped entirely. It is pertinent to note here that the RDA surveyed the buildings of the bus stations. The survey results depicted that the structures were not damaged.
