CDA to Assess Bids for Margalla Avenue-M1 Link Project

Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) is set to evaluate the bids for the contract of a new 5-kilometer road linking Margalla Avenue to the Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway (M1).

The civic body has received 21 applications from different construction companies. Currently, the CDA is evaluating the profiles of the said companies to shortlist the competent companies.

The selected companies will formally submit tender documents for bidding. The CDA is evaluating these submissions to shortlist companies for the tender process. Anticipated to finish in two months, this new segment connecting D-12 to E-11 aims to provide an alternative route for commuters between G.T. Road and Islamabad.

The project, valued at PKR 5.45 billion and spanning 3.4 kilometers, plans to conclude within eight months upon initiation, following approval by the CDA’s Development Working Party in August. For the latest Real Estate News and Blogs, visit Realtorspk blogs.
