CDA announced to open the 7th Avenue Flyover Bridge on 14 august, 2022, for general traffic. The bridge will likely be opened before its deadline, October 2022.
According to the details, the flyover inauguration will be held before October as per the instruction of Premier Shehbaz Sharif. On occasion, Chairman Capital Development Authority Amer Ali Ahmed said that the flyover is almost ready and getting the final touches so it can be operational on Independence Day of Pakistan.
Furthermore, he added that work on other roads, including Khayabn-e-Suharwardy, Srinagar Highway expansion, and work on slip roads, will be completed within two weeks.
It is important to note here that the Rawal Chowk Flyover project is also set for inauguration on Independence Day ahead of two weeks schedule on the instruction of higher authorities.
