CDA has started to analyze the pre-qualification bids for the construction of parking plazas in Islamabad for over 17 firms. The bids are submitted for the construction of 5 mega parking plazas in the city.
The construction project is part of the proposed six parking plazas in the Blue Area to accommodate 3500 plus vehicles. The Capital Development Authority will review the bids from 17 firms over two weeks and pick the most eligible and capable firm for the project.
Furthermore, CDA will issue the tender after evaluation, and only shortlisted firms can participate in the bidding process. Capital Development Authority will also sell a few Blue Area parking plaza levels to cover the development cost.
It is important to note that of 6 proposed plazas, one is under construction at Savour Foods. It will have the capacity to park over 1300 vehicles. NLC is executing the project with 1.2 billion PKR.
