CM Punjab Approves $150 Billion Road Rehabilitation Project-Realtorspk News

Lahore: Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi approved an extensive road rehabilitation and expansion initiative covering 2600 kilometers across the province.

At a meeting chaired by CM Naqvi, a comprehensive report on the road improvement project was presented. The plan aims to enhance and construct 105 roads in various districts, elevating them to the highest standards.

During the meeting, C&W Secretary Suhail Anwar confidently provided an update on the progress of ongoing road construction and improvement efforts. The briefing revealed 104 road projects were underway, with completion expected within the following year. During the meeting, it was revealed that an estimated cost of PKR 150 billion has been allocated for constructing, expanding, and improving 104 roads across the province.

During the briefing, it was reported that nine major road projects in different districts of Punjab have been completed. Additionally, substantial progress has been made on 33 highways in various regions. Moreover, an impressive amount of funds have been earmarked for constructing 39 new roads, and six projects under the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) are set to be completed.
