Peshawar: Honorable Dr. Aamer Abdullah, serving as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Industries, Commerce, Technical Education, and Merged Districts Affairs, ceremoniously inaugurated the new Business Center situated within the Small Industries Estate.
The report indicates that the establishment of the Business Centre incurred a cost of PKR 45 million. It is anticipated to generate substantial monthly revenue, amounting to millions of rupees for the Small Industries Development Board (SIDB) through its commercial ventures.
Strategically positioned on Kohat Road within the Small Industrial Estate, the Business Center features exhibition spaces and showrooms, showcasing the diverse array of products crafted by the estate’s various industrialists. The opening event was graced by the presence of distinguished personalities, including Ghazanfar Ali, the Managing Director of SIDB, alongside Deputy Managing Directors Sahibzada Zulfiqar and Noman Fayyaz, as well as additional officers, officials, and staff.
Minister Abdullah, in his address, underscored the project’s significance and the imperative to refine the board’s operational strategy to foster enhanced growth, economic solidity, and alignment with modern-day requirements. The minister’s mandate seeks to assure the perpetual advancement and evolution of the Business Center, thereby bolstering the local economy.
