ICCI President Urges CDA to upgrade G-11 Markaz  as a model market

Islamabad: A formal request has been made by the ICCI President, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, urging the CDA to transform G-11 Markaz into a prime market that can function as a central location for bolstering trade operations.

The President of ICCI, Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, formally requested collaboration with CDA to enhance market development. He communicated various market-related issues to the Chairman of CDA for resolution. He assured the Traders Welfare Association of G-11 Markaz that ICCI would work with them to address their members’ concerns.

During his visit to G-11, Markaz, former ICCI President and Secretary General of United Business Group (UBG), Zafar Bakhtawari, stressed the significance of market association office bearers in addressing trader issues. This statement was made during Bakhtawari’s meeting with newly elected Market Association office bearers and an ICCI delegation.

Zafar Bakhtawari praised the newly elected Market Association office bearers and an ICCI delegation for resolving trader issues. He prioritized traders’ interests and mentioned an award ceremony to recognize their contributions.

The President, Naeem Akhtar Awan, and the Secretary-General, Farrukh Khan, of the Traders Welfare Association G-11 Markaz, Islamabad, highlighted the inadequate basic facilities caused by the CDA and MCI. They stressed the urgent need for parking facilities, road carpeting, footpath repairs, water filtration plant installation, and construction of public toilets in G-11 Markaz to ease traders’ difficulties.

During the market visit, Chaudhry Aftab Gujjar, Group Leader, warmly welcomed the ICCI delegation. Gujjar commended Zafar Bakhtawari’s and Ahsan Bakhtawari’s contributions, highlighting their positive impact on the business community. The ICCI delegation included Raja Muhammad Imtiaz, Khalid Chaudhry, Saifur Rahman Khan, Rao Faisal, Zafar Gujjar, Nasir Chaudhry, Chaudhry Irfan, Zarif Khan, Zia Chaudhry, Waseem Chaudhry, and others.
