Islamabad: According to the details, Islamabad has been allocated 2.2 billion rupees to complete ongoing development projects in budget 23-24. The construction of projects will uplift the rural areas of the federal capital of Pakistan.

There are numerous projects which will be funded according to the allotted budget. For the development of rural areas, 9.4 billion rupees are allocated for various projects, including road projects, sanitation work, water supply schemes, etc.

Besides the ongoing development package, CDA will likely launch new development projects of 10 billion rupees in Islamabad’s rural areas. Additionally, water treatment of Rawal Lake and Korang River is also included in the current fiscal budget, which will cost 6 billion PKR.

The federal government has allocated 29 million PKR to study the feasibility of new Metro Bus routes from Bhara Kahu to Faizabad and Faizabad to Rawat.

Furthermore, the federal government has allocated PKR 29 million in the budget for conducting a feasibility study for new Metro Bus routes from Bhara Kahu to Faizabad and Faizabad to Rawat. The Metro bus service operates from Bhara Kahu to Pims and from Koral to PIMS, but under temporary arrangements amidst regular traffic. However, the government intends to establish dedicated metro bus services on the mentioned routes, with separate corridors.
