OPF Housing Scheme

Islamabad: The Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) Valley Zone-V housing concerns have been referred to the appropriate authorities by the Sub-Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis.

The National Assembly’s subcommittee had a meeting in the OPF Committee Room. The OPF Valley Housing Scheme was discussed during the meeting by the subcommittee. The subcommittee ordered the departments’ senior representatives to get together and find a suitable solution. The meeting also addressed OPF Valley Zone-fee-related V’s concerns.

The committee was notified by a Frontier Works Organization (FWO) representative that the funds were not allocated, which caused a delay in the development activity. He said that FWO would mobilize the necessary machinery and equipment for the building even if only 50% of the funds were provided. Additionally, an MNA claimed that the project’s delay is driving up costs daily.
