Rawalpindi: The District Planning and Design Committee (DPDC) in Rawalpindi has approved the “land classification map,” marking a pivotal moment in realizing the long-awaited master plan for the district.
A senior official revealed that MMP had given a nod to the “land use classification plans” for the following tehsils:
- Gujar Khan
- Kallar Syedan
- Taxila
- Murree
- Kotli Sattian
- Kahuta
The settlement has been finalized. The approved land classification map will serve as the foundation for the consultant to formulate a development plan that aligns with the new classification (zoning) of land in the Rawalpindi district.
