Gawadar: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has urged the youth of Balochistan to seize the historic opportunity for development presented by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Gwadar Seawater Desalination Plant and Pak-China Friendship Hospital, Mr. Kakar urged the populace to participate in the development of the area rather than causing hindrance resistance. He further emphasized the transformative impact of the economic corridor in reducing travel durations across Balochistan. He projected a staggering $36 trillion in trade around China, urging the youth to contribute through skill development.
Federal ministers Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Sami Saeed, and Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Mardan Domki attended the event. Moreover, Chinese Ambassadors in Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, and other Chinese officials were also in attendance.
PM Kakar assured all-out support for the security of CPEC projects and workers, affirming the commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces. He expressed his views that Gwadar would soon become a trade hub, benefiting future generations through Pak-China cooperation.
