CDA’s Four-Day Auction Nets PKR 12.9 Billion

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) concluded a successful four-day auction of plots, generating a whopping PKR 12.9 billion.

The auction was a huge success, featuring various residential and commercial plots. The CDA impressively sold 25 plots, gathering PKR 12.90 billion. On the final day of the auction, the civic body auctioned plots designated for meat, fruit, and vegetable shops. The plots measured 16.67 square yards and were located in different sectors of the capital.

Notable transactions included the plot# 4 in sector F-8/4 for PKR 43.52 million and plot# 5, which fetched an even more impressive PKR 45.19 million.

The meat, fruit, and vegetable plots# 1, 2, and 3 attracted great attention and were sold for substantial amounts of PKR 19.67 million, PKR 20.34 million, and PKR 29.42 million, respectively.

As for residential plots, plot# 1 was sold for PKR 183 million, while plot# 6 fetched PKR 255 million.

In addition, commercial plot# 7 in the Blue Area, spanning over 611.11 square yards, was sold for a whopping PKR 1.033 billion, making it the auction’s highlight.

A committee led by the Member Estate closely monitored the auction process, ensuring transparency and fairness for all participants. The Chairman of CDA praised the committee for their efforts.
